On a Friday night during my graveyard shift at McDonald’s a drunken customer passed by the Drive-Thru around 2:30a.m.While my coworker was taking his order the customer decided to cuss and call her really offensive names because she couldn’t get his order right. She got mad and decided to spit in the customers Sweet Tea, she was immediately fired when another coworker told the manager. Since I started working at McDonald’s 3 years ago and actually noticed how nasty it really is, I don’t eat at fast food restaurants nearly as often as before. Fast foods stimulate the pleasure chemicals in the brain and scientists have claimed that hamburgers and French fries can be as addictive as heroin. C. A huge part of pollution is caused by fast food. And fast food pollution is caused by customers who pass by the drive-thru and eat while on the go. When the person is done eating their food they most likely don’t have a trash can nearby so they just throw the trash out the window while driving or just leave the trash wherever it is when they finished the food. The government should regulate food safety and the controlled substances put in fast foods to cut down on calorie intake. B. Choosing different sides that some fast food restaurants might offer like sliced apples and macaroni and cheese instead of French fries. Also choosing different beverages to drink with your lunch rather than sodas. C. And lastly, eliminating Drive-thru from fast food restaurants makes people have to eat inside the restaurant. Normally, the average age of people at most of the rave events is 18 to 25 years. More interestingly, the average age of the Ravers increased due to its popularity among all age group people. Rave scene has its own culture instead of just a party term. Vivacious group of like-minded young individuals gather in one platform and dance in order to join rave communities. The rave tradition has become popular among New York youth.In this regard, one community has developed a Ravers website and named it (www.Raveclick.com). The primary motive behind the creation of this website was to urge youth to adopt rave culture. With the advent of this website, music and fashion in New York have gone out of their track. For example, the outfits and style of music were completely changed. Rockers have begun to perform electronic hip-hop music which amused ravers in dance parties. In rave parties, teenagers dance to electronic music from dusk to dawn. Old scholars treat the rave as a hypertext of delight and disappearance. In the period of 1989 to 1992, rave culture began to flourish into a global phenomenon on grassroots basis. In 1980 Rave people were first traveled to attend the rave parties, usually at that time the parties were arranged in home basis. However, by the mid of 1990 major companies were started to sponsor rave parties on commercial basis. In subculture trends, fashion dressing of teenagers are very interesting and unluckily very little studied. Nonetheless with regard of subculture context, every one in the rave community wants himself or herself to mark some distinct point in his or her individual personal characteristics by doing something different from others. Youth culture denotes to a homogenous belief of teenagers as doing similar things and being dealt in a similar fashion and plays down aspects of distinctions. According to Wilson â€Å"The rave issue is contextualized through a thorough examination of the history of rave scenes. Not surprisingly, Wilson discovers that rave culture has its roots in disco, pre-disco, warehouse parties and gay clubs in New York City, Chicago, Detroit and Britain. More interestingly, however, is Wilson’s scrupulous documentation of previous scholarship of the heyday of rave. He reveals that while some scholars were claiming the libidinal space of the rave dance floor as an anti-patriarchal realm of resistance, others were decrying its elitism and upper-middle class tendency toward exclusion and clique formation. So the question becomes, does rave culture alter and question reality, or does it confirm it.† (Wilson, pg, 224) The most controversial issue of rave subculture is excessive use of drugs and from the very outset of the rave parties it has been closely associated with it. Ravers in dance parties usually take dugs as to get more amusement. More interestingly, in some communities beside alcohol drinks drugs are the primary motive of joy and happiness in rave parties. Often Ravers have embraced deviation and exoticism with respect of people, music, and everything. In addition, different cultures have established because of rave offers a lack of hierarchy and the pure sense of progression that are significant for the social and emotional development of a particular group. As discussed above, drugs and violence have been known as an element of the rave subculture but it is very difficult to judge the degree of their impact on young generation. It all started with my first bestselling novel at age 5. When I first presented my creation of stapled papers with pictures and misspelled words to my father, he was so proud that he insisted on showing my extended family at the next gathering. Each page had a different illustration of the same six rainbow bears travelling to different places and overcoming challenges along the way. It was formatted so a caption lined the bottom of each picture explaining where they were headed next on their grand adventure. Their journey came to an end when they found the sun at the top of a hill. As my book got passed around amongst my many aunts, uncles, and cousins, I received many compliments on my writing. I was asked numerous questions about what I wanted in the future even though I was too young to know at the time. After my grandfather asked me if I was going to continue writing stories, I decided in that very moment that it was indeed something I would like to carry on. The possibilities are endless as I can create a world where communist dogs can overthrow the government, or where every bank in the U.S. gets robbed, and still make it worth people’s time to read. As I begin to find my own style, I tend to write about more significant things that carry messages and project meaning onto my life. Writing is simply a way of expression. Though I was too naive to understand how life in itself worked, my first book about the rainbow bears confronting and surmounting challenges along their adventure describes the patterns of life. Like the rainbow bears in the story helping each other reach their goal together, my family helps support my aspirations of being a writer and tells me not to get discouraged when I am confronted with an obstacle. Everyone that has surrounded me in my life has influenced my writing in some way – even that random man on the bus that spilled coffee on himself that one time.
